I've been asking alot of questions on these forums lately because I'm working on a side-scrolling tutorial. I've seen a lot of posts regarding this so I figured I would just make one myself (my first actual project) and post my results here for anyone wanting to make one. I chose the old NES game Blaster Master because I personally love that old game. I'm about 80% on the first level complete. Player movement is included, although the jumping is flaky for some reason. I think it has to do with collision of Bounding Boxes and geometry. The tank model is complete, still haven't figured out how to get Jason to exit the tank and then pass control to him for player control. Here's the link to where u can download what I have so far and take a peak. I'm also writing up the Tut as I work and this will be included in the final game. Enjoy Oh for the record this is done in c-script using A6 Commercial. I know everyone is going to lite-c and i too will eventually but not right now.

:] i have written a sidescroller tutorial at our Turkish GS community site. I didnt translated it because it is a very basic tut(30 pgs. events,panels,actions, some c_ instructions explained) for lite-c beginners.

Too bad that i dont have access to megaupload, i cant check your one.

i can give a script file with a running demo, that is created by following my tut. You may get some ideas from it? I can comment the code if you want to?. I'll have time tomorrow to do it.

okay, i will upload a commented source and a demo for the sidescroller i only need some tidying up and some English commenting.

and about he megaupload. It is blocked from Turkey cuz' people uses it alot for sharing pirated games/software.
