is there a possibility to make only single parts of an model transparent? (Like the windows of a car) and does anyone know the polygon maximum in med (vers. 6.846)? is it over 100.000? i hope so^^
If you use black (0,0,0) for the window skin and add "my.overlay = on:" to the model's action they will be totally transparent. So you could streak the skin with faint blue slashes to fake glass reflections.
There are, of course, better ways. But that's the easy one.
When you unwrap your model, apply an alpha channel within photoshop or your specified software that only covers the windows, or as jazz said, use black and set(my,OVERLAY) but make sure you don't use black on anything else in your texture.

but then it's totally transpartent or issn't it? in this case it would be the same as if i don't design a window. issn't there a possibilty to make it a bit visible like alpha = 20 or something like that
and does someone know where the polygon-maximum in med is? my model has about 82.000 polygons up to now and it is still working (only sometimes med crashes when i move some polygons).
