Glider - GamesConvetion Demo

Hi

after ~t years of development here is a public preview version of our game "glider collect'n kill". The multiplayer and singleplay mode is completly functional.

At the beginnig we're post this thing only here on the gs board before it's going public within the next days.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here, please explain...

As for that demo, yeah, I'd be interested in that.. By the way, making the hmp a converted model is easy, so I'm going to try that out too, thanks for another hint..

Like i said , after tomorrow i'll put a demo to download proving
C_move works great.
I'll also put a demo with enveloppe demonstration like in Unreal2
to show how to make a "collision enveloppe" on several objects to avoid
beeing "stuck".

We've found some major bugs within the new c_move. Even some optimizing problems, we'll post some comments within the next week or so.

Ok, so maybe I'm right after all and it's not my ackward and chaotic scripting thanks zapan@work!!
I'd be very interested in knowing what kind of bugs you've experienced..

Essentially for physics neither PH_CYLINDER nor PH_POLY work properly.

Additionally some (if not all moving) entites keep moving through walls and the like no matter what kind of hull we assigned to them. Quite frustrating i might add when you try to finish some project/demo.

When playing on a really slow computer, I have
recognized that there is a problem in the
rotation of the ship, relative to the FPS.

The panning (drehen des Shiffes) seems to
have a value that is not affected by the actual "time".

This leads to faster rotation per second whenever the FPS drop,
and slower rotation rotation per second, whenever the FPS
are higher.

This should be fixed, be relating the rotation to the
time value.

Thanks for your observation. This problem was also reported by an other user and will be fixed.

Excellent work, I had alot of fun playing the game. Only thing that kind of concerns me is that your interface and "style" reminds me a little too much of unreal tournament. Not that its a bad thing, it just makes the game feel less original.
