Habe ein Problem beim importieren von einem über Biped (Charakter Studio) mit Bones animierten Model, welches ich in 3D Studio Max 9 SP2 und dem aktuellsten FBX export Plugin erstellt habe.
Das Problem ist das die Bones sowie die Skin-Modifier Informationen nicht korrekt in MED importiert werden. Jetzt würde ich gerne herausfinden warum das so ist und ob das Problem bei MED oder mir bzw. meinem Model liegen kann.
Habe bereits über 2 Wochen herumexperimentiert an was es liegen könnte, doch jetzt weiss ich nicht mehr weiter.
Um das Problem etwas zu verdeutlichen habe ich ein paar Screenshots gemacht.

1. Das Model in 3D Studio Max im Animationsframe 9 (vor dem Export bzw. das gleiche wenn ich es aus der FBX Datei wieder importiere)


2. Das Model nach dem Import in MED ebenfalls im Animationsframe 9. Ich habe lediglich die Checkbox "convert to points animation" nicht gecheckt, dafür aber "Bones" in der Importliste


3. Die Exportoptionen vom FBX Plugin für Max die ich verwendet habe. (Andere kombinationen waren noch schlimmer)


Ich hoffe jemand kann mir bei meinem Problem helfen oder mich informieren ob es in einer kommenden A7 Version auf diese Weise möglich sein wird.
Habe das Problem übrigens mit A7.07 und der aktuellen Beta A7.08.3b, nur als Vertex Animation wird es richtig importiert. Benötige aber eine Bones Animation wegen Funktionen die ich in meinem Projekt verwende.

Yes, I have send it now to support at acknex(dot)com.
[Edit] I don't know what is my support ticket number or user ID. I think it's a little confusing. Is it my real name, the user to download updates or something else?

Thanks, we got the file, and Wladimir will look into the problem. - Your user ID is the thing that you have to enter when you download something and the server asks you for user ID and password. You better know it.

I want to ask whether Waldimir looked into it and can reconstruct the problem.

I noticed one new point of the bug list:

FBX models with bones animation received wrong vertex positions when different inherit transformations between parent and child bones were used (all A7 versions; fixed in A7.08.3). Please make sure when editing and importing FBX models that all bones use the same inherit transformation.


I tested the import again with the Beta version 7.085 but it doesn't solve the problem. Should it work with the Beta?

tried converting your model to editable poly in max?? sometimes it helps.

No, but converted it to editable mesh. This should do the same, but I can try it later today.

[Edit] Do you mean before or after the skin modifier? If I convert it after the skin modifier then is the bones animation completly removed in max.

another question: does it import well when you import the exported fbx from max(or milkshape or another tools you have.)?

Yes it imports well (1:1) in max and Quest 3D Engine after the export from max.
