How to join:
Right click on the exe file and create a shortcut, right click on the shortcut
& got to properties then add " -cl -ip 217.43.32.197" to the end of the target box (without the quotes) click ok then run the shortcut, this will let you join as a client...
(You can also give your self a name by putting " -pl" after " 97" followed by the name you want i.e "-cl -ip 217.43.32.197 -pl Player1")


How to chat:
Press enter and then type a message press enter again to send it, note: the chat systems still is a bit buggy i think, but unless you try to send blank messages everything should be fine...

Things to notice: the chat system works as follows: Depending on the distance to the other players depends on if they can see the messages you send, just like in a MMORPG... Please test it and tell me what you think, i would love to hear any feed back, Thank you..

Also: if it lags its just because my servers not that great, sorry and thank you very much for testing.

you know that "192.168.0.7" is your INTERNAL NETWORK address, right?

I tested it but it states no server found so I assume you stop running the server

I tried it, all I see is a green areal, nothing else happening. I cannot send messages or anything. Now it could be that my machine is really slow, but the level does not look all that detailed, at least not so that I should have problems...
(You think a ehh 5 yr old machine could do it?)
Connecting seems to work though

I'm going to start to work on real mmorpg server system in near future so I'm interested in the system used in this.
I assume you use Acknex's networking system?

I'll test it as I get home today. I'd love to have reply before that.'

EDIT: and shouldn't a real mmorpg server be open 24/7?

all I see is a camera fixed to a terrain...no key works..not even Enter for chatting.

nah..I think you have to do port forewarding or something to get the server run property. (I didn't get my server work right)
