On my system it has the extension _c0. _d0 is blendmap and _l0 is shadowmap.

By the way: Amazing programme! Very handy to use.

Sehr schönes Tutorial, nur muss ich zu meiner Schande bestehen, dass ich kein Paint mehr habe

Meine Grafikprogramme zeigen die Blendmap als CMYK Map (picture publisher) oder RGBA (gimp) an und wie du schon gesagt hast, speichern die das dann als RGB, wobei der letzte Kanal verloren geht und die anderen falsch gemischt werden.
Aber ich versteh irgendwie sowieso nicht, warum EarthSculptor 4Kanäle erstellt.

EDIT: Was spricht dagegen die Blendmap als RGBA .tga zu imporiteren und anschließend den alphakanal einfach zu ignorieren?
