I put together a medium sized level with some of the resources I made for a contract a while back and thought people might like to see it. The contract was to make a futuristic set of rooms, halls, corners, etc. which fit together so many variations could be made but reorganizing the layout of pieces. The textures are lower resolution (but still detailed), and the level is designed specifically to take advantage of bsp culling. It should run fast on even older computers. You can download it here futurstic level demo. It is about 8mb and .zip format. Run by clicking level.exe. Move with w,s,a,d and mouse. Let me know how it runs. Here are some screens.

I really just threw this together from assets I made for a client, so I'm not really going to be editing it. Thank you for the comments, though.

Damocles: I'm not really sure what you mean about bumpmaps. Shaders on level geometry is incredibly slow right now, and this was built for speed on low end computers. If you would like to see some of my work with shaders check out my site. I do agree to a point about the dirt, though, but like I said this has been done for over a year now, and I think many people like to hide poor level design with grunge.

No, I dont mean shaders, Just as A Method like I use in Gimp, to make a texture have more structure. Here a little texture i quickly made to show what i mean:

That's one nice futuristic level JakeL !! The level in general looks very attractive to walk in, and observe from The textures really fit together, the level geometrie looks pro !! Like Damocles said, add some more dirt maps, bumpmapping to improve the textures to get the top quality out of them Could you tell me which skin size you mostly used, because I noticed the skin quality is good so I guess you mostly used a 512X512 and 1024x1024 skin size and the demo is running very smooth !! I'm just abit curious, no more Btw, nice site your got there ^^ Cheers Frazzle

Damocles: All the textures were made by using a greyscale height map and being artificially lit from two directions causing an embossing effect. Embossing is basically what is happining with a dot 3 bumpmap shader. They might look a little lacking because of the resolutions. Everything was made with speed in mind. Thank you for your comments.
