this is mot my first model, but it is the first model that i have hand drawn the skin for....
it is the colt m4 carbine (colt commando)
i modeled it in med and painted the skin in macromedia fireworks.

coments and criticism (about the gun or the modeling but mainly the skinning
it is tnot the first model i have skinned but it is tghe first that i painted the skin for.... enjoy you are free to use this in any game you like as long as you quote me (will speak) somewhere... thanks

The model in general looks quite good !!
But I don't like the skin effect you hand painted on the ammo clips
But I guess I could use the model and make a skin for it my self
Btw, adding a polycount in your post would be an extra element to make the user it more easyer to decide or they will or will not download the weapon, considering the polycount

right thnks for that i know the amunition in the second clip looks cartoony and that needs fixing however the green mess is suposed to be duct tape in the style of some special forces to group two clips together so you have to search for a new magazine only half as much.

Oke I see that know but I don't think it is very clear to every one what the green thing is on the ammo clips if you don't explain it on the screens in your first post
You may edit, and add the polycount and skin size as well in your first post, that may be more clear to anyone who starts reading the topic from the beginning

if you do reskin the model let me know as id like to see i think i did a good job of unwraping the model, if you want the origional .png just ask... and the polycount is only high because of the amount of exras on the weapon the base weapon here is a lower poly base version
