AI program help needed

im working on a shooter where the main character has two AI controlled characters, i need help writing an external program to controll these characters. if you can help please reply with your email address and i will give more detailed ideas on what i need.

basically i have three entities, one is the player entity, and two AI controlled entities, what im trying to accomplish is to get them to follow the player, but not perfectly, i want them to have more of a human error about their movement(like getting farther or closer away and not having that feeling of being safety pinned to the character) and this is kind of a different question but i also need help in how to link that program to my main program.
