If you got your key in the last week, you're going to have to re-install 3DGameStudio.
Backup all your work files, uninstall your current version of 3DGS, download and install the latest trial edition from the website (don't install the original one even if you have it backed up, you need the latest trial download), then run the key.exe

thanks Doug, had same problem, but solved it by myself. updated to a6.5 and got about window in wed/med without my name (but edition displayed right), in sed was ok. did reinstall from scratch without success. then redownload and... thats it...
