SkyCube Resolution Limit?

Some simple questions:

1) What is the maximum size of a SkyCube?

2) Is it dependant on your videocard?

3) My D3DCAPS says 8192x8192 is my max texture size. Does this mean that my SkyCube resolution limit is 8192x1365, or is it 49152x8192?

4) If it is not one of those, is the limit on a per-side basis(i.e 6 bitmaps of 8192x8192)

Ok.. It's been 3 days(in aus) and no answer.

Well why dont you answer the question yourself? you dont even need a script, you can easily test it by using the sky cube image directly as command line parameter.

I guess the maximum size on any 3D card is 6144x1024. 1365 can't work because its no power of 2, and sky cubes bigger than 1024 make no sense anyway. 3072x512 is enough in most cases.
