Timesplitters FP style effect

If anyone has played TS:FP you must have seen that amazing time grenade thingy. Does anyone know how to do that?

if you post a shot saying something would be easier. everything is possible

I can't find a shot on the internet, but the effect I am looking for is the screen 'rippling' as if it were a body of water that another drop has droped into.

Does anyone know what I mean?

Yep, time splitters is a great shooter. There was a rippled glass shader. If you have the right bump/normalmap, it should look like a drop into water, but not animated.
