A friend of mine has a lot of cinematic sounds, mostly mp3.
3dgs seems to not support alot of sounds. Wav works often, anything else is not supported.
If I convert the sounds they loose quality and it doesn`t always work afterwards either.

How do you handle sounds/music?
Are there tricks I don`t know about?

Code:
media_play

?

edit: As far as i know those files must be in the game directory and are ignored by the resource compiler. Maybe
Code:
bind

solves this, never tryed.

Quote:
.avi, .wmv, .wma, .wav, .mid, .mp3, .ogg

Maybe some people wanna take a look in here, a simple music - player example using media_play, media_tune, media_stop

Gamestudio doesn't support stereo sounds, thats mostly the problem. Use Audacity or other audio tools to edit the sounds files to be mono instead.
